Praising God for His sufficient Grace

Happy Monday dear friends!
I know that for some of you this greeting doesn't sound very exciting - what can be happy about another week filled with challenges?
Surely, all of us sometimes experience this feeling of being overwhelmed with all we have to do and accomplish.
From time to time we are all burdened with the expectations others place on us, but much more so - with all the expectations we place on ourselves.
We strive to reach and achieve and sometimes we do.
But then there are times when we fail.
And then there are times when we fall hard and low...
It can be pretty painful and discouraging.
It can be discouraging to the point that we dread to stand up and try again because we are too afraid of another failure.
We expect far too much excellence and perfection from ourselves.
Our loving God doesn't.  He doesn't think of us any less when we fail.
He just wants us to reach up to Him and allow His Grace to strengthen us.
This truth is so plain and simple that we so often bluntly forget about it.

Grace

His Grace doesn't just appear as a lightning flash at the moment of our salvation and then it is gone because it served it's purpose.
It appears at that point to stay with us.
As much as we need God's Grace to save us, we need it to live our everyday lives in such a way that all the good plans God has for us, can come true.
Whatever our weaknesses are, His Grace is always sufficient that we can have fulfilled and exciting lives.

"And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work" (2 Corinthians 9:8)

I was reminded of this precious truth just the last week - when I really needed it.
So, let us live our lives in God's beautiful sufficient grace, always giving Him praise for it.
Have a wonderful week! ♥
